Mango is the King of Fruits. Mango is the national fruit of India, Pakistan and the Philippines. Worldwide, there are several hundred cultivars of mango. Depending on the cultivar, mango fruits varies in size, shape, sweetness, skin colour and flesh colour which may be pale yellow, gold, green, or orange.
Summer is the time when people crave this delectable, juicy fruit in India. This fruit is not only delicious but also boasts of an amazing nutritional profile. It is packed with nutrients and is low in calories. It improves the heart, digestive and eye health and in this terrible pandemic its various immune-boosting nutrients like Vitamin C & folate only gives this fruit a centre stage in a line of various healthy, immune boosting foods.
So today we have presented a refreshing dish for all the mango lovers out there to beat the summer heat and also boost their immunity. Here, we prepare a dessert which is made by using this divine & heavenly fruit~ The Mango!

Ingredients-
- 2 Ripe mangoes
- A glass of milk
- 2 Tbsp. of sugar
- 1 Tsp. of cinnamon powder
- A few mint leaves
- 1 Cup of cream
Method-
- Wash the mangoes. Peel and dice the mangoes into small pieces.
- Boil the milk.
- Add cream, sugar, cinnamon powder , mango pieces and a few mint leaves into the boiled milk.
- Mash mangoes to release its flavour into the milk. Cook for some time.
- Pour the dessert into individual glasses. Garnish the dessert with the mint leaves and then refrigerate it.
- Serve chilled and enjoy it.
Preparation Time - 2 hours
Tips~ You can also garnish it with small pieces of almonds or some other dry fruits as per your liking.
