Bread Paneer Pizza is a quick, delicious and healthy evening snack and breakfast recipe. It is made with bread, tomato, pizza sauce, cheese and veggies. This may be a simple alternative for when you crave for a Pizza. No need to make the pizza dough and wait until it rises like the traditional one. If you have bread slices, pizza sauce or tomato ketchup, toppings of your choice then it hardly takes 15 to 20 minutes to satisfy your Pizza craving.
You can use any variety of bread to make bread pizza like whole wheat flour bread or white bread or multigrain bread or brown bread or wheat sandwich bread.
It can be made on a griddle or on tawa or on pan or in an oven. For making Bread Pizza on tawa or on pan we have to use heavy tawa or pan. Otherwise the bread can get burnt from the bottom. On tawa or pan we have to use low flame for making bread pizza as it slowly creates a nice golden crust on the base of the bread.
Generally for making pizza we use pizza sauce but in this recipe we can use homemade white sauce and even tomato pizza sauce easily.
Here I am making BREAD PANEER PIZZA in oven by using home made Tomato Pizza Sauce as a base sauce.
Ingredients-
6 Bread slices
1/2 Cup grated Mozzarella cheese or processed cheese
2 Tsp. Vegetable oil
2Tbsp. Melted butter
2 Tsp Tomato ketchup
1 Cup paneer cut in small pieces
2 Tbsp. Frozen corn
1 Tomato
1 Onion
1 Green or Red or Yellow Capsicum
2 Tbsp. Green peas
1 Tsp. Chilly Flakes
1Tsp. Oregano
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper powder
1/2 Tsp Salt or Salt as per taste
1/4 Tsp Chaat masala
For Instant Pizza Sauce-
1/3 Cup Tomato sauce
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Chilly Flakes
1/2 Tsp. Grated Garlic
1/4 Tsp Chilly powder (optional)
1/2 Tsp. Mixed Herbs or Oregano
Method-
A. Instant Pizza Sauce
1. Take a bowl. Put 1/3 cup tomato sauce in it.
2. Add the following-
- 1/4 Tsp salt
- 1/2Tsp chilly flakes
- 1/2 Tsp grated garlic
- 1/4 Tsp chilly powder (optional)
- 1/2 Tsp mixed herbs or oregano.
3. Mix all ingredients well. Our instant pizza sauce is ready.
B. Bread Paneer Pizza
1. Chop all veggies- tomato, onion & capsicum, into small pieces.
2. Put a frying pan on a gas stove. Add 2 to 3 Tsp vegetable oil in it.
3. Put all veggies, corn, paneer in the frying pan.
4. Add the following in the frying pan-
- Some salt
- 1/2 Tsp black pepper powder
- Chilly flakes,
- Oregano
- 1/2 Tsp chilly powder
- 1/4Tsp Chaat masala
- 2 Tsp tomato ketchup
5. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes all the veggies on a medium flame.
6. Now take the bread & spread the melted butter on one side of the bread
7. Put the bread on its buttered side on the baking tray.
8. Now spread the instant pizza sauce on the other side(top/upper side) of bread.
9. Put some fried veggies on the bread & cover it with grated Mozzarella cheese.
10. Sprinkle some chilly flakes and oregano over it.
11. Put the baking tray in preheated oven & bake at 160 degree centigrade for 5 to 6 minutes or until the mozzarella cheese is melted down.
